FIND WHAT YOU LOVE

One of the biggest errors we make when it comes to exercise and moving our bodies is doing activities we have to force ourselves to do. You have to find something you love. Something that makes you happy. Something that you want to do everyday, or maybe you don’t want to do it but when you show up to do it, within minutes you’re reminded of just how much you appreciate your body and all that it’s capable of.

Create attainable goals

It is important to create goals in your fitness journey. No goal is too big or too small. Your goal in the beginning may just be a time goal. Making it happen. Or you may have a long term goal like doing one unassisted pull up someday. Whatever it is, it has to work for you an be something that isn’t daunting but motivating.

Focus on the interior

Most of us start a fitness journey with the expectation of improving our physical look. When you focus too much on that type of progress you forget to celebrate the interior progress your’e making. You have to celebrate every win. That might just mean being happy with yourself for showing up. You have to be positive to maintain the momentum that will build a life long habit.
